Pollution is the process of contaminating the surrounding with harmful or unwanted substances. Some of the harmful effects of pollution are the loss of life and destruction to the environment. There are four types of pollutions. The four classes of pollutions are water, land, noise, and air pollution. Examples of water bodies where water pollution occurs are rivers, lakes, and oceans. Water pollution is caused by things such as oil spillage by oil tankers, warm water from industries, and growth of water hyacinth. It has been known for warm water to remove oxygen in water bodies thus leading to death of the marine life. Transport on water bodies is made difficult by the growth of water hyacinth. Noise pollution is brought about by noisy production industries, automobiles, and loud music from cinemas and casinos. Noise pollution has been known to lead to deaf and lack of concentration to people. Patients in hospitals for an example require quietness. Some of the sources of air pollution are decomposing matter, emissions from industries, and exhaust fumes from vehicles. Air pollution has harmful effects on the breathing systems of both animals and people. Lead from combustible fuels can lead to lung cancer to the inhalers.
Land pollution is the most common type of pollution. Some of the things that lead to land pollution are waste products from industries and homes and runoff. Waste products are classified into inorganic and organic products. It has been known for the organic materials to be the decaying materials while inorganic to be the non-decaying materials. Both classes of waste products make the environment dirty and unsafe for use. Expect runoff to be brought about by a heavy rain. It has been known for runoff to cause soil erosion. Soil erosion makes land unproductive for farming. It is good to control any kind of pollution. There are several methods we can use to control different types of pollutions. Soil erosion can be checked by planting vegetation and building of gabions. The soil is tightly held by plant root and gabions to withstand runoff. Pelletizing machine can be used to check pollution.
Pelletizing machines are kinds of grinding devices. The role of pellet mills is to change waster products and byproducts into a valuable form. Examples of materials that can be pelletized are wood shavings, charcoal, sawdust, and grass. These kinds of biomass materials normally lead to air and land pollution. There various benefits of a pelletizing machine. There is little noise produced by a pellet mill as compared to other classes of grinding machines. Pellet mills are long lasting. Pelletizing machines normally consume small storage space. Harmful organisms such as bacteria are usually killed by the high temperature produced during the functioning of the pelletizing machine.Getting Down To Basics with Resources
